You/we...

You/we...

A Poem by Ewen A Morrison
"

'Dry' four liner poem...for 'dry', think deadpan.

"

You/we...

Born an amateur to life's living;
give what is to give - for giving.
'Evolving' worth...entirely true,
surely for all kind, includes you!

Moran taing! (Many thanks in English) if I may use our Scottish Gaelic? I'm pleased that you like my little poem...it is simply an example of my own type...I'm an addicted poetry fan, and fully aware that there is no definite 'style' to emulate specifically ~ perhaps that's why I enjoy reading and writing some too?

This WritersCafe membership is something I've considered, without getting involved in; indeed, your review is my first/only one! Let's see what's to follow?

Thanks again, E

I like it. For being such a short poem, the words you used in, in the way you used them have left me thinking. I like poems that do that.
