Dark intentions

Dark intentions

A Poem by Agonizing Clarity

Those eyes they shine so bright
glistening in the dark
That heart of yours, so filled with fight
that mind inside, so deep, so stark.

The trouble is, your destructive intentions
towards yourself, and those all affected
You're dancing a wild tango with death
and kiss his lips with a final breath

Swallow the pills with a cheer
the truth was just too hard to swallow
You've been traveling for a while, dear
That stomach that once held life is starting to look a bit hollow.

Those eyes, they hold oceans
colored with Dark Intentions
You lash out, a repeated motion
apologies you forgot to mention.

You pose a question
why did he cross to the other side
I said I had no idea
and then, my dear, you tried...
