Ignoring and getting ignored

Ignoring and getting ignored

A Poem by Agnibo
"

Wrote this just a few days back. :)

"
Memories fade like dust in air.
Ignorance takes over all due care.
Smiles get faker day-by-day.
'Hmm, Okay', is all that's left to say.

'Contacts' remain just another number,
No calls or messages whatsoever.
Spending night gets harder with time
Yet the same lie, 'I am all fine.'

True words right there. I could totally relate to what you were saying in this poem. As I'm sure we all can. Well written! Thanks for sharing.

So sad. So true how this happens. It's good to record these sorrows in poetry, for ourselves or for others who can't put words on their ache. The next to the last line should probably read 'the night' or 'a night' to make it correct. Good write! I.I.

Life can become harder. We must something worthwhile to do. We do keep fake face and tell lies to be left alone. I felt the disappointment and the anger in the poetry.

This poem is absolutely true and relatable. With the modern world, it gets hard to differentiate between fake and real! Keep it up :)

So many true words are in this piece, and its so very sad when these things start to take place.
You do see the fake smiles, the 'Ill stay in touch, the yeah I'm doing Ok line starts to come out a lot.

Friendships do turn to dust along with many empty promises of saying in touch.

A truthful piece and it makes you ask why cant this world be a better place.
