The Whimpering Young Man

The Whimpering Young Man

A Poem by iTryToWriteAllTheTime

Who fears outside the cage,
thrown out into the world.

Virgin am I, to the likes of
danger and craft.

Monsters sharpen their razor-
like claws on young like me.

The whimpering man lays in his
cage, pulls his headphones
over his ears, and day dreams
until even his bones rot.
