Unspoken For

Unspoken For

A Poem by iTryToWriteAllTheTime

Parents spill words
into empty minds;
Spoiling, pre-scribing,
indoctrinating, ideating,
corrupting the young freedoms
of childhood life.

While the newly hazed
are beat into young adulthood,
drowning in the splintered
boat of Dreams and Obligation.
