‘Wall-E’

‘Wall-E’

A Poem by iTryToWriteAllTheTime

I know I’ll miss them when I’ll

Walk out the door this last time.

I know eventually my memory

Will fail to hold them closely.

Love, acceptance, meaning,

All of these will flee my grasp.

Being embraced in the crowd

Of those who needed me.

Steve and Repo, we braved the

Storm together, sending our

Brave voyagers on their way

To their eternal future resting.

I take this name tag, Repo,

Encased and embraced in my soul,

Forever wanting to return to

Joy’s Place.
