Shrine to My Sorrows

Shrine to My Sorrows

A Poem by iTryToWriteAllTheTime
"

Thinking of a certain someone from a long time ago.

"

You are a shrine to my sorrows.

You could fill my mind with

Stories I’ve all but forgotten.

You could make feeling flow

From numb limbs.

You could cleanse the guilt

Before I knew to feel it.

You are a shrine to my sorrows

I prostrate along the riverside

Soothing my sorrows, tensions,

Uncleanliness. You plow my

Soul, your craft immaculate.

You wash away unease like

Rain washes away steps along

A treaded dirt path.
