Shrine to My SorrowsA Poem by iTryToWriteAllTheTimeThinking of a certain someone from a long time ago.You are a shrine to my sorrows. You could fill my mind with Stories I’ve all but forgotten. You could make feeling flow From numb limbs. You could cleanse the guilt Before I knew to feel it. You are a shrine to my sorrows I prostrate along the riverside Soothing my sorrows, tensions, Uncleanliness. You plow my Soul, your craft immaculate. You wash away unease like Rain washes away steps along A treaded dirt path. © 2024 iTryToWriteAllTheTimeAuthor's Note
