Wings

Wings

A Poem by iTryToWriteAllTheTime

Where is your passion?

Old bird, clinging to

The certainty of

The ground, unwilling

To fly your cold wings.

Yes, it inspired thoughts that even as I age...which is happening fast, I hope not to fly on cold wings or write with cold wings, but keep some of that passion I have now.
This is a good question you pose...especially for those of us who write.
thank you for this.
