Museums and Artists

A Poem by iTryToWriteAllTheTime

The world is but a museum
Trapped inside of time itself.
Magicians, poets, prophets,
But craft the mausoleum
We lay in, hoping to escape
Decay, romanticizing lost
Pieces of art as the world
Moves on without us.

This is easily one of my favorite pieces I've seen on this site in recent memory. Nicely done.

I would like to visit that museum before it is time to go to the mausoleum.
This reminds us of how it might be when the world moves on without us. We can only
hope that our art might still move on in time.
