Translucence

A Poem by Anna

"

i have seen the world and the world is beautiful. But love keeps me from love...and i cannot travel alone. All that i have dreamed of, and all that's left is compromises. Half a cage, half a heart. So close but pixels fail to appease. When all you have dreamed of is troublesome still. And i am still missing some vital pieces of the puzzle. The truth that is evident screams out to my deaf ears. And i strain to listen, but all i can do is guess.
