and she's right.
all that we have lived for is still sand within our grasp. all the little pieces fall to the ground before turning into diamonds. the good things never stay around that long. the little pieces of good will never amount to one ultimate perfection here.
through my childhood i have seen the setting of the sun but have mistaken it for the rising. Beats and rhythms of life animate my limbs to keep going....my spirit is on its way back to me. but i think it is lost.

and all that we have had was our dreams.
and dreams...have never been reality.

we are lost...the warm blanket of true loves are the only means for keeping us alive; keep us moving.

moving towards that setting sun before it dies completely.

I really like this, and feel like I can connect with it. Maybe it just has to do with my current frame of mind, but either way, I like it.

Particularly, I really like this one line: "through my childhood i have seen the setting of the sun but have mistaken it for the rising." It really stood out to me when I was reading it.

I'm looking forward to reading more of your work.

About
i've traveled far in my short life, and i don't necessarily mean in "distance" terms. I put God above all else. He is the one to make all things beautiful and yet still love what has been destroyed... more..
