willows sway to the melancholy serenade
of deceased birds in the attic you barricade...
and the dead will dance to a familiar tune
of dreams remapped on the dark night's noon.

Ahhh I picked the perfect time of the year to read this. You are right, short and powerful. Usually its when you speak the least you say the most.

It's short but powerful. The use of danse macab, really works here. It starts a bit unusually, but I guess not using capitals could also represent that there's no end or beginning, so that's a nice one too. A good brain wrecker for the reader, but also displaying strong emotions. I like it.
