We Sail

We Sail

A Poem by Anna
"

"

swept away by the tide
and now the anchor is sinking
into the dark abyss but along the way
the penetrating sun caresses the aged millstone
until it is forgotten; detached and unabated we sail
we sail into an endless world

sail for the holy land
or the writhing currents claim your soul
most journey for the emerald grass
we journey for the path itself
and when we reach that corner of the world
we will look back on the blue
and look forward to the galaxies

and we press on.

dreams... so passionate!
is it the purpose?
and to go beyond?
to reach what no man has ever come within?
or is the godliness of your truth... and the glory of this song?
i read it 4 times... and still it beholds something within!

again... salutes!
