The Perfect Soulmate

The Perfect Soulmate

A Poem by BeautifulPoison

A wise man once asked:
What is love ?
An emotion
Perhaps the amount of scratches left on one's back
My response was neither
For love does not exist
Or so I thought
A gentleman captured my soul
Touched my heart
His sexual inhibitions lay dormant
As his fingers strum the strings of my heart
Creating perfect harmony
His words equivalent to the sweetest melody
His passion burns for me
As his lips graze my neck
Fingers interlock
Our hearts begin beating in synch
Tears of joy soak his shirt
I have found my soulmate
