Inescapeable

Inescapeable

A Poem by Aevum
"

Long poem

"
We leave our souls

In the dust of the waking world

Only to find our dreams gone

Our hopes long faded

To the storm we march

Our hollow bones creak

With the long forgotten ages

Together we stand

At the fringe of dark and light

Of good and evil

As we ascend our boundaries

We ask one question

Why this?

This is not how the end is supposed to be

We were able to choose our fates

But we everlasting chose

The flames and the dark

The end is coming

All turns to dust

At the swords first clash
