Satan’s deep abyss,

Life is a test and a choice in our own hands, where we want to go after death!

Thanks for your review, A. Amos! But since we're forced to choose, is it really free will? We're forced against our will to choose, and this intervention nullifies our free will choice not to have free will. Why not just flip a coin to determine which path to take so we may have a coin choose our path for us. Send the coin to Hell if it makes the wrong choice.

Thanks for your review, Michael! But that "pain" is life itself. Pain and pleasure is life's motivation to continue because we need a strong motivation to continue. Some rare people have a brain disorder whereby they feel no sensation, and thus have no way to know if their body is turning into blissful dust. Pain and pleasure are evolved biological survival traits. Without our survival traits we would all gratefully die with smiles on our faces. We’re forced to stay alive, and not to take a dive into oblivion all too soon.

Agreed. It's been a long journey of gaining the wisdom to thank the lord for my trials.

It's always a good idea to thank one's muse for all wisdom gained. Your muse is your friend, your lord of inspiration. It's always helpful to personify our mysterious source of inspiration, as well as other mysteries. In this way we bring these mysteries down to our human level of understanding as huggable entities that make us feel good deep inside just as a huggable puppy would. Good Psychology here! For all we know, a mystery may be all that we imagine it to be since it's a mystery to begin with.

I have to say that to me Jesus Christ is no mystery. He reveals all to us about His plan of Salvation and the workings with priesthood to the universe. The promise is if we show faith through service, attitude, gratitude and a will in choosing righteousness all will be revealed line upon line and precept upon precept.i have found this to be true. God doesn't work in mysterious ways because he wants us to strive to be as He is. That couldn't happen if He keeps us in the dark. That's why today we have apostles, a living prophet and on going revelation through the restored gospel of Jesus Christ with all the keys restored in this the last dispensation.

But the entity to which Jesus refers has always been a mystery, a burning bush, a nameless rose in the wilderness. I think that the Jewish metaphors used to elaborate this mystery are full of inspiration, but they are only metaphors. The original name for this mystery is just the Jewish word that means "a nameless personification of a mystery". Jesus refers to a mystery, which makes Jesus just as much a mystery as the mystery to which he refers. He said that he was connected with the greatest mystery. The Source of Reality may be made into a personified mystery if we want to imagine it that way, but doing this doesn’t make it any less of a mystery. This mystery is the wonder of the world, the source of Reality, the Great Unknown. I don’t know what else to say about this gap in my knowledge. I just hope that the Great Unknown, what ever that is, is on our side protecting us from harm, and looking out for our happiness. Jesus had some great literary quotes that may be helpful to the betterment of our species. He seemed to teach that we follow the Golden Rule. If only we all did? Let's follow the Golden Rule!

Thanks for your review, Sami! Everything is being pulled into a more focused perspective ( its source) out of which everything must flow once more (to its sink) in perpetually. Life (motion) is found in the interim of the transition of useful energy to entropy, a heat engine driven by fire and ice till they deplete each other. The nature of the Source is a great mystery!

It is tough for me to enetrtain so much in very few lines but you seem to have that ability. Wether it is one or the other obvious differences in paths but other than a science which would accept imaginative thinking sure we are lost and not even capable to formulate a what if. If it was left to me I'll go for the angels kiss but that's just me a sucker afterall....
