About the beginning and end of a love affair.

Dust to Dust

 

 

Twirling specks of dust

dance inside our view

with that wanderlust

that once held us too.

 

Pirouette,

play roulette

till sunset.

 

Once a lovely gust,

powerful and true,

joined the two of us

into something new.

 

A strong jet

may beget

a duet.

 

Underneath our crust,

our devotions grew.

Wonder, love, and trust

filled us through and through.

 

Once we met,

our kismet

was reset.

 

Finally we were thrust

into a hot flue

that made us combust

into residue.

 

This upset

made us sweat,

and forget.

From dust you are to dust thou shall return- is meant only for the body not soul.That was the spiritual aspect but i like how you have blended this into a love affair ; a gust of emotions,trapped in the whirlwind of love but at last you are cruelly brought back to the reality. Thrusted into the hot flue you drop back to the reality- which leaves ou drained of all emotions.Your words create a sandstorm around me.. Nice write. :)

Probability is like a dormant seed waiting for its time to sprout once again. Everything exist eternally within the fabric of time as a probability. Oh my this had me going fast I am really taken back by the seducing aspect of your writing is as if once you start reading it makes you skip and bounce all the way to the end vibrantly and with quick feet.
And the notion of unity is powerfull and the recreation part and even the meeting part like atoms colliding into an explosion of sorts.

And I thought it was going to have something to do with Ashes to ashes .....
