Hmm, I like your musing, Aethereal. We know the answer but for some lame reasons, we don't acknowledge Who.

If we encounter a Referent Reality who reads our minds and then takes the material form of that which we imagine then this "Who" is only a projection of that which our minds fabricate. Human beings have a way of creating only what they desire to find as apposed to finding the unexpected. We should be careful what we wish for because if it’s a monster within our “Id” it may materialize and then destroy us.

True sentiments. It's like I'm listening to my Psychology professor now. :)

We know what "Who" means and we project it onto The Other, both objecftive and mystical, and for that reason we're human. My computer has no idea, my pet cat has some other idea yet unknown to me.
I'm tempted to say it's Doctor Who, but I'll resist. ;)
Even though you're communicating the humanness of our being, I admire your near robotic mathematical usage of English, particularly in the last line. There's a strict economy of words in this poem, but it serves your message very well.

The who...can be anyone who's important to us. Someone who can help us recognize ourselves.
There's a continuity of questions because as we go on with our journey, we keep on finding WHO could complete us as a human being.
This is interesting. Thanks for the share.

How is it that we refer to ourselves as a "Who"? My computer can't do that no matter how well I program it. Human beings don't seem to be functions of programs.
The rhyme is visible in this verse...
the questions get the mind thinking...
I felt the last part like the song...Who are you...
by the group band: The Who...
may be you should put the music with the read...

i hear that last line reverberating...the echo of it...like the echoes when we are out in nature...i think that "who" is our inner self...the one who will sooner or later find peace...become one with everything around us.

A wonderful song and tune...I guess there is a band called the who...Bravo...................

Calling a Force of Natue a Who makes it more palpable to human beings. Who put the who in that truth we pursue? It's how we think about forces that do.
