From my own personal point of view . I see a spiritual side of this piece. May not be the prime reason why it was penned. But here is my take ...

Who's the Who that makes all things new? ( And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. Revelation 21:5 )

Who's the Who whom we must pursue? ( If you seek Me with all your heart I will be found by you and I will manifest Myself to you. Jeremiah 29:13 )

Who's the Who that keeps loving you? ( Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 )

Who's the Who is the Who, Who, Who ( “I am the LORD, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by Myself. Isaiah 44:24)

Thanks for your detailed review, Neil! Yes, all through history this common human archetypal mood has evoked an attempt to describe it through the literature of every culture. This mood is a synergy, and therefore it has no algorithm, no logical description of any kind. A mood is only aware of itself. Consciousness is the major thing in itself that we‘re aware of. Consciousness is the God Synergy.

I call it the Analogue Synergy Function. With this function 1 > infinity. It's a topological manifold function. The human brain as well as most brains have synergic topographies.

This is much more than a one to one conformal mapping. In this case, topological n'th dimensional manifolds combine to form a new manifold that has properties that none of the component manifolds have even say if we added up the individual properties of each manifold. In Chemistry, we call it a catalytic reaction. A catalysis enables individual molecules to join into structures that have properties unlike the properties of any of the component molecules, but the catalysis remands unchanged. An atom is a quantum synergy.

I love how succinct this poem is but how it leaves the lingering question in my mind. 'Who' asks so many questions in itself, who do we surround ourselves with, who do we chase, who do we need, who are we ourselves, who are we to others. It's endless but I believe some questions in life just don't have a perfect answer. That's what life is anyway- an attempt to work it all out- and I think you portrayed that beautifully in this poem, well done!

The style of the poem asks the reader to think who is who makes us who we are, it could be values and beliefs that were demonstrated since we were little.

Perhaps "Who" is just the mood that we happen to be in at this moment, and at that moment that mood is us, for each of us is a river of moods flowing, and flowing, thus giving us a sense of continuity, a conscious illusion. Computers lack this trait since there’s no algorithm for a mood.

You are right, and I have been thinking about computers if computers were programmed to react with good feelings or to react the other way, which leads me to believe that computers that are programmed to know all the answers of history, they wouldnt be smarter than persons in other areas, do you think that answer is good for research.

Thanks for your detailed review, Linda! Perhaps a "Who" is just a relationship source, a fitting piece for a puzzle, a hand that fits a glove, one side of a mating pair, or a shoe that fits a foot. The one side of a symmetry might be a ‘Who” as with the left or right wing of a pair of wings.

From mystery springs hope, but more often than not mystery engenders a terrifying fear in some people, a fear that leads them into wishful thinking about how this Unknown may be pacified through the use of superstitious magical ritual and sacrifice. We’re all naïve relative to the totality of all that we have yet to be aware of, and so we must endure our inevitable follies as we learn through our mistakes whereby we develop better survival traits in this cold dark unforgiving universe.

Np. This hope gives either resolute strength, or a naive fear of what is unknown. As for superstition, I have tested it but it hasn't established much. Even now I wish to discover what is unknown. I don't live to survive, because this world to me is dark and cold, yet there are rays of light and love. Perhaps I live to spread that light in me.

Have you ever noticed that superstitious fear in someone's eyes as they follow that religious ritual of not stepping on all those unlucky cracks on sidewalks? Unfortunately ritualized behavior is in our blood, and we often fight wars over it. We live because we survive, and we survive because we must have a goal that motivates us to continue to do so. A goal is a survival trait. One of our main goals is find out what’s around the next corner, the goal of discovery.

Well, there's a difference between philosophical curiosity and jumping into complete and utter spiritual death. As for ritualized behavior, we clearly demonstrate, as individuals, that we are all striving for different goals, and for different reasons. It is a main goal to discover....
