What we treasures and love the most in life is what we are going to pursue the most. We are goal oriented, success oriented and are motivated by what drives us ...
This is a very philosophical piece...Such wealth of lessons and passions in life..

Our philosophies are motivated by psychological moods. We are the content of our moods, our synergisms. Without psychological synergisms, we only have our memory, and our ability to do logic; we'd be as dead as our computer which has the same. If we could add synergisms to a computer, it would be a conscious computer with a motive to exist.

I stand to be corrected .I'm still am to discover the difference between the two. Now these thoughts came to mind. Are you a Psychologist or a Computer Specialist ? Seems like the two exist or coexist inside your bios ...

It got to the point where I ran out of research money because it's extremely expensive to build new computer designs that incorporates analogue components that mimic complex psychological synergies. Others who have better funding have taken over my research, and that's alright with me. Good luck to them whoever they are. Somewhere on Earth in a research lab hidden deep under ground is the world’s first prototype of an Android Brain. In just the last year, the Federal Government has launched a major biological research project to study the human brain in great detail. Technology marches on, and no one can stop it; but it might stop us some day if it gets out or control. As long as we can pull the plug, we’re safe.

They wont kill us; they'll just replace us by merging with us. As parts of our human brains begin to die they would be replaced piece by piece by android brain components 'til we each become an immortal android. We would all be absorbed by the collective consciousness.
some would argue we also over-pursue the measure...that is, what drives us and why do we do what we do? for us? for others? those who are more true to themselves and ignore the measure are often viewed as self serving...but often, in pursuing, what is found is so much more than the measure....I'm babbling. I liked this. Succinct and true.

Sometimes we abuse our natural survival trait measures by partaking in harmful drugs which place us in "Over-Drive" till we burn out leaving only an empty shell of our former selves behind; but oh, what a way to go! Chmical madness results!

I love how you have captured, in a few short lines, the idea of how our behaivors are most often fuled by the filfilment of personal gratification... well done, striking piece.

The one thing that a computer can't be programmed to do is feel personal gratification. What's the logic of pain and pleasure? What may computers ever treasure? We exist outside of logical constructs.
These sum up who we are and what we are. Our ability to live through them measures what we can be.

Poems that sing like songs always have a stronger impact than those that don't carry a tune. Such a poem is like a pretty yellow canary singing from the tree tops with all she's got.
Concise but speaks volume...this piece sounds like two quotes. It's true that we measure all things we do if SUCCESSFUL or FAILED based on what we feel with them. If we are happy, then we succeed...if sad, we failed. Then we continue with the one that we really wanted (with hot devotions).
Thank you for sharing your gem here, Aethereal.
