It's such an awesome read! The idea is brilliant and the sound effects are a nice touch. Makes us think what we've done to nature. I loved the poem! :)

Destroying the natural ecology about us is a very dangerous thing to do since we have yet to figure out how to duplicate an artificial environment that would result in long term human survival. If we decide to move into outer space, then we would need to carry with us not just ourselves but also elements of Earth's ecology.
As you left me two gifts of verses here is first one from me hope you like and enjoy, keep it it's your as my gift..
Without trees how can the world be green
how ugly the world will be viewed from space
earth will be seen like blue a ring
even our kids will fight as there will be no swing...

Our Earth is a bluish ring
set with jewels that green may bring.
Feels like the movie "Terminator". Ha.
When is progress really progress?
A fine question with an urban flare.

It sounds like what the mass media considers news from day to day. Every passing moment terminates the present whereby each fleeting joy can't wait and thus is lost forever within the rat-a-tat-tat ... if ignored.
I enjoyed those lines in alliteration and assonance.
But sad to say, we are the victims of our own mishandling.

The Universe conspires to self-destruct, and we are its self-victimizing children who find joy in doing such on a deep psychological level. Though some of us resist the urge to self-destruct, resistance is futile short of an elusive saving grace that we have no way of grasping. It's our grasping that prevents us from getting what we really need. The best things in life come without a struggle.
Absolutely. The way we humans as a whole live today, disrespecting everything including nature, it is no wonder we've brought such calamities upon ourselves. "We live like rats and fleas as gangsters in the hood". That is a brilliant, snarling description of the despicable lives we lead. On a side note, this reminds me of my poem "The Remnants of Tomorrow", which is somewhat similar to this, although a bit more elaborate, if I can call it that.
Great write!

Thanks for your detailed review, Abdul! We seem to be of one mind.
Nice flow .. i enjoyed the piece. Imaginary's very expressive. A great concept you put up here through the poem to think about it more in deep.. because delusion, devolution, delegation and so on every word's working in a human's life as a medicine .. lol Humans're forgetting the meaning of humanity as i've made one write and you've read already .. so, in today's Arena .. the world's became a place not to live freely but to wrench the every part of the body with the words of distastefulness that rip the heart off with some dishonesty of humans. I loved the great concept you put up here. Well done, Aethereal.
