Mighty Mouse

After reading some antique Mighty Mouse comic books, I was inspired to write this poem.

Mighty Mouse

 

Mighty Mouse shall save the day

for each of his friends

holding every cat at bay

with which he contends.

 

Kitties doing as they may

form a harmful trend

scaring tiny mice at play

whom they apprehend.

 

Mighty Mouse joins every fray

meaning to defend

all his friends filled with dismay

when those cats descend.

 

Mitzi Mouse was once the prey

of those who offend.

Mighty kept her from harm's way

to the bitter end.
