Zephyrus breaks the calm of their quiet day pelting each date palm with blown sand and clay, then without a qualm takes their tent away. A child hugs his mom as they cry, and pray words from an old psalm as their world turns gray.
This is short and concise piece but you penned and captured well the havoc and effect a sandstorm could do to anything that stand in its path. You must be visiting a place or have seen and witnessed this event while traveling in middle east or perhaps just saw it on Discovery Channel . Beautiful piece coming from a beautiful mind...

The Sahara is covered with the bleached bones of ancient warriors who once fought for long forgotten empires. If only those drifting sands could speak, what stories they would tell?
