![]() Mary AliceA Poem by Aethereal![]() Love poem involving the Aurora Borealis.![]() Mary Alice
The Aurora Borealis takes me through the northern sky
to her luminescent palace
deep within her mystic sigh.
Shooting stars come into view as part of her retinue.
At the gates, a rara avis guides me from a ledge on high.
to a bright fluorescent terrace
where the souls of lovers ply
Sparkling like the morning dew spirits crave the loves they knew.
In the midst of this oasis, comes the apple of my eye.
Could she be my Mary Alice
reaching from the by-and-by?
Gentle prisms, red to blue touch the ones whom they pursue.
With a bliss that's void of malice, her kind smile is her reply
as we share a crystal chalice
drinking beams that never die?
Loving colors, bold and true, blend together, rendezvous.
