Slow Down

watching the world go by,

out of the corner of my eye,

everyone in a hurry,

like mice on the scurry.

cars go by in a flash,

faces mingle together in a mash.

alone, i take my time

feeling like the mime

that noone notices or cares

watching the people over theres

life is too short,

to try and sort

all of your moments and fears

take them as they come and face the tears,

smell the flower in the garden,

don't let your heart harden

and turn to ice and stone

walk this world not alone

find someone to seek comfort in

for not is the bigger sin,

find the one

to with you can walk into the sun

and live your life of bliss

always reminded with a kiss
