Before Beauty

Before Beauty

A Poem by Aerielle Louise
"

Good in the heart works its way up and prints its own beauty there

"
How does the little butterfly
Improve it's shining wings?
Can't find a perfect reason why
for beauty-need of earthlings

Once upon a playful time
Is a butterfly named, Aey
The protagonist of this story rhyme
and is ugly as they say

There was another character
a butterfly named, Bhie
Who's opposing to the other
And is full of charming beauty

"Hi Bhie! Can I play with you?"
Asked Aey with a happy blithe
"No way! You, ugly hue,
Get away from my side!"

Aey cried but suddenly
An old butterfly interfere
"How rude you are, Bhie!"
She said as she came near

"Who are you another ugly?
You're even uglier than Aey!"
Said Bhie haughtily
"Why don't you go away!"

"Won't you show some respect?"
Aey told Bhie in response
"You're not what I expect
You're only pretty at glance"

The old butterfly spread its' wings
A magical wind transformed her to be
A wonderful fairy with colorful wings
That both shocked Aey and Bhie

Beside them was a little pond
"Look at yourself in the water"
as the fairy pointed her wand
"Do you know what really matter?"

Bhie appeared to be very ugly
While Aey is reflected with beauty
She has a very slender body
And wings that are colorful shiny

Both learned what really matter
As they made their way, with peace, apart
"Yourself is what you see reflected in the water
The true identity that was in your heart"

May you all learn from Aey, Bhie's story
That A always comes first before B
Like in oure alphabet, A and B
Attitude first before beauty
