The Sinking Boat

The Sinking Boat

A Poem by Aerielle Louise
"

Selfishness leads to selflessness

"
Blue sky falls, the white clouds float
Flowers, birds, trees, all has its beauty
Behind the story of a sinking boat
is a man, a child and a lady

The three are on their way to find a journey
They row the boat using the paddle
As the rain began to become stormy
the began to think twaddle

"What if the boat sink or what if we fall?
I'm so afraid I do not want to die"
He said as he worries about almost all
"I must wish upon the sky"

"What's wrong about falling down?
I'll stand up and be alright"
he heard from a lady wearing gown
Whom he just met last night

"The difference between land and ocean
is the difference of night and day"
Said the man sitting in the portion
"When the boat sing there's no other way"

"And if we fall, we cannot stand on the water
We may drown or be eaten by the fishes
We're in the mid of the ocean remember?
And reality doesn't grant wishes"

Not long after, the waters began entering the boat
The only way to save the boat from sinking
Is to lessen the weight of the boat
Big waves came, boat continued shaking

The child, worried and crying, jumped into the waters
To save the child, the man jumped out also
The lady paddled away, herself is only that matters
The two cried help as the lady acted like foe

"I'm sorry guys, can't help you out. I do not want to die"
Said the lady as the wind became strong and wild
But the, a yacht came driven by a strange guy
"Please help us! Please! Or just save this child"

The strange guy helped the child and the man
Unfortunately, the waves swallowed the boat with the lady
the guy, the man and the child was about to help the woman
But the lady is too far from them as it is windy and rainy

The story behind the sinking boat
is the lesson from it that float
Know that the lady's selfishness
Only led her to selflessness

The child who doesn't thought of his self
Has been saved and helped
So as the man with a kind, brave behavior
Both lead them having their Savior
