Let go

Let go

Buddhist Philosophy

Let go, let fade away the past forever, withering hope is virtues fertile ground.

Bear down the task until you are released, keeping straight and true knowledge will be found.

To dream or awaken? Obvious question! Forbear all fools except the one in you,

His time draws near, the karmic clock counts-down, track him and hunt - his hiding spots are few.

Lustful love the phoenix of existence, of good and evil they can’t make distinction.

But wise men see and taste the emptiness, the beauty of the phoenix’s extinction.

~

Have courage, be brave o’ precious young son, this holy battle is certainly hard won.

And patiently endure for now my friend, until you can reach this noble path’s end,

Forever released from death and disease - uprooted you’ll live in tranquilities peace.

The Buddha's philosophy is to be admired. But I wonder how one puts it into practice when a panzer division is coming up the street.

This essentially answers that question: https://www.dhammatalks.org/suttas/KN/Thag/thag16_1.html
