You Changed Everything

You Changed Everything

A Poem by XFallxEverX
"

Another love poem that has one person seeing the other after a long period of time and that person sees things in the other that they've never seen before.

"

Shadows hide but don't tell

My clouded eyes are blackened with them

Your voice sings and chimes like an old cathedral bell

Eyes of glittering brilliance and a topaz gem

I see beyond your silent shell and cold gaze

Pure but tainted, kind yet mean

Talent like no other needs its praise

But you're happy unlike me, no misery to be seen

Those fienish shadows fog my sight

Though, I see you, like I always did

Flawless and stunning in the showering moonlight

Smiling cutely, eyes gleaming like a youth kid

I'm young so I shouldn't know what love does

You invade my thoughts, hopes, and dreams

One encounter, no words; nothing is like it was

Everything changed: you, me; time is crueler than it seems

Fate tore us apart and tore me in two

We're inches away now, I wanna know how you taste

You're always on my mind, does that mean I love you?

I'm back in your presence, I won't let this time go to waste
