Compressed in Silence

loneliness can be expressed in many different ways, some more severe than others

Tucking my knees to my chest

My breathe comes out in sobs

They say I'm just a pest

I tell myself they're just snobs

But what if they're right?

My friends aren't here

So I dwell out of sight

No one even realizes I'm near

The love of my kin?

They're not even around

That's why I hold this pen

Being isloated, not making a sound

Though there's never a cost

I look up to the sky

God is there even when I'm lost

My hopes grows and it won't die

As long as he's here

I feel comletely whole

I have nothing to fear

This faith burns fiercely in my soul

Though he can't stop my peers,

Those who punish me so,

From bring me to tears

I'll still love him more than they know

God's company is grand and all

But it's not enough for me

He may catch me when I fall

But it doesn't make me any less lonely
