The Unseen

The Unseen

A Poem by XFallxEverX
"

ummm.... i have low self-esteem so this is me looking in a mirror and not liking wat i see so i break it regardless of how many ppl say im beautiful....

"

A face only a mother could love
Yes, so true
Such sight of dull leave green
A suppressing darkness withheld
More like an invisible force field
Keeping others at a distance
So far away
Claws and fangs of a mythical beast
Does it scare you?
Blood stains her palms
And faith is lost to her
A follower of the Hell-Fires
She feels protected within its inferno
Surrounding her, embracing her
Strands of hair like a filthy sheet
Of a wasteland's earth
Draped upon her shoulders
Hiding her completely
Scars both minor and major
Are tattooed upon her skin
Are tattooed upon her heart
Such wounds will never heal
Some are trying
A depth not yet known
Why suffer
She whispers to her
A sound so soft
But so rough
At the edges it scrapes
Against more so the world
Only true eyes will see
The beauty so rare
She is unconvinced
Daggers of such torment
A single tear races down
Stopped by her sleeve
And no ones hand
The leash snaps
And the reflecting glass
Shatters
It screams unheard
Beauty
Her reflection halts
Though its still not
Convinced
