The memories that hurt my soul.

The memories that hurt my soul.

A Poem by Adventureseeker1
"

A poem dedicated to a beautiful young individual who's life was taken unexpectedly.

"
As I'm outside on the deck, at our bar
Where you and I first met.
When I was here last,
You were too.
Grinding my teeth, others are laughing,
Having a good time.
I'm trying not to but our memories flood my mind.
Just sitting here, who would I be thinking of?
No matter if you're gone or not
I'd still be thinking about you.
There was something about you
A strive, a passion, a beauty that I loved.
It's uncanny to realize,
That spending your time with somebody,
Sometimes will unknowingly be your last.
Dear beautiful soul, shine around us,
and until we meet again, cheers.
Dedicated to: Anni

This is heartbreaking to read. People who go too fast stay in our memories for the rest of our lives. I had a friend who committed suicide two years ago. It feels like yesterday he was here.

Great poem.
