Her Last Days

Her Last Days

A Poem by Brooklyn
"

This poem i wrote is dedicated to my grandmom who passed away a couple of years ago. Hopefully while reading it, you can feel the depth and emotion in it while you read it.

"

When I went to the hospital,

To be by your side,

Your eyes sent a message,

Of the pain you couldn't hide.

I held your hand,

With a glimpse of hope,

That maybe one day,

You'll soon be home.

I mostly miss your voice,

And your presence in the room.

My tears turn into droplets,

Every time I think of you.

Your image stays with me,

With the little things I do.

I miss you so much,

But there's nothing I can do.

The last days of your life,

Was mostly filled with pain.

Your body was suffering,

But now your soul can sing.

A fine ending, and a well expressed poem. You have potential as a writer, I could see it through the way you type. Great job.
