Sarah's grief

Sarah's grief

A Poem by Brooklyn
"

For this poem i decided to try to put a character in this poem. Hopefully you guys like.

"

Emptiness hides in the shadows,
while pain finds a place called home.
Darkness seeps in her soul,
as her face fades like a black hole.

The energy she once glowed,
replaced by a broken soul.
The day her parents died,
left her nowhere to go.

For years she struggled to cope with their deaths
but could never find the part of her that had been lost.
She lived in a world of isolation and heartache
watching as life passed her by.

She sat by the window,
rocking back and forth in the chair,
until she took her last breath,
alone in misery and despair.
