The curse.

The curse.

A Poem by Adrian

Everyday the people ask one question, How do I make this Easier?
My answer to why we say such things is simple.
We Crave Efficiency.
As simple creatures we were only able to make simple thoughts.
That thought being "How can I make that more efficient?"
The first tool perhaps.
"How can I get that rock to cut better? "
The Knife, Mankind's first and most loyal friend.
The reason behind every thought that we humans can fathom Derives from Efficiency.
This statement then raises the question.
"How can My thoughts be in any way related to this?"
That is just the way the brain works
"How can I convey this feeling and get what I want out of it?"
The Brain is made up of the cells that were required to make our life easier
The first time and will forever be.
As long as Mankind still has Breath to draw
It will never stop doing its sole purpose.
To be efficient.
That of course includes
Greed.
Gluttony.
Pride.
Wrath.
Envy.
Lust.
These seven categories define Mankind.
However the only reason we are even able to think that simple Thought
Is because that is the same question that nature asks.
Life.
Death.
Clouds.
Rivers.
Stars.
The universe is doomed to an eternity of finding the most Efficient way to support the
Ever expanding ecosystem life has.
Every galaxy.
Solar-system.
Planet.
Moon.
Cell.
Plant.
Animal.
Human.
Are of course doomed to it as well.
For we are connected to it
A plague.
