My Light, My Darlin'

My Light, My Darlin'

A Poem by AJ TheSnowMan

The winds blowing there
But quiet and still I always bare
I see the water drip and pour
Yet warm and dry in my core
The dogs are cats
The nights sun
I'm confused
It's time to run
But no there's that light
Is it safe because I don't want to fight
I've had enough and I've depressed
Myself longer than I digress
A helping hand sticks out
Took away now the dark cloud
I see now I can't make it alone
As my heart has already shown
The hand on my cheek
The way that I feel
The love that I need
It's not out of desperation
But with my mind's humanization
Revealed the revelation
That I know
Who I love
Who I believe
Who I hear
Who I trust

As now that light draws near
Another failure is what I fear
'I was always here'
The voice says to me
'Forget the past it's what you wanted'
How could I have forgotten
'I have the water it's what you need'
As you pour and replenish my soul
I'm no longer harsh and cold
You'll help me move
The boulder from my chest
You've always had
Made me bring out my best

You won't forget
You never did
You waited inside
And I won't waste time
For you to be whos?
Of course, be mine..
