Dew Drops.

Dew Drops.

A Poem by Christian Renz

I. Silken rays  cascade  upon regal shoulders.
Moonlit paleness which ascends the sky.

II. As slender as a sage is wise.
Uncorrupted by day’s beams.

III. My breath stopped as I looked at the green eyes of the dew’s nest.

IV. A lonely silhouette sit’s by the shore.
Moistening  their owner’s lips with natures tears.

V. Why must we suffer for other’s transgressions.?
Without them we are nothing.

VI. As sol comes up, nature’s tears disappear.
And in their place comes a mist so thick.

VII. Swollen eyes from the night’s solitude.
Tear streaked trails line her face.

VIII. Dew’s lover must not know.
Know the pain that seeps into the tree’s bark.

IX. Moving to, coming fro, all with night’s tear’s in mind.
Taken to an unholy place.

X. as if time had stopped still.
As the tears  spirit was lifted from them.

XI. Warrior’s bane, rescued her.
From the clutches of the crimson ark.

XII. Place your trust in me, for
nothing an take away  eternities’ favor.

XIII. Perhaps we shall dance in our meadow again.
Maybe we shall call upon the morning dew’s strength again.
