looking into your eyes

looking into your eyes

A Poem by Christian Renz

Long forgotten, we yearn
On ward, ever onward, never stopping.
Out into the bloody dark.
Kingdom of despair.
I can’t go on.
Nothing matters.
Governed by others, why do I try?

Intellectual fools, all of them.
Not one tries to see you.
There in your corner.
Over looked and locked away.

Young and fragile.
Out spoken by all.
Us is the word they use to try and beguile you.
Right into their trap.

Every one but that one in the back row there.
Yes! There’s one right there.
Eyes flashing
Sapphire mist, clinging to everything.
