Cotton Tails

A poem written for a friend. The prompt was "Things like cotton, velvet, and bedding"

Like cotton, so soft Your hair, aloft If i had to compare you, Lara Croft I wish i could talk to you, more oft Alas, you're sick, suffering so the time passes, oh so slow I wish you well, with prayers in tow So that your beautiful face, again will show Your voice is like satin, red velvet as you cuddle your blankets, or duvet Goodnight, sweet dreams, farewell Until the day, you're once again swell.
