A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

A Poem by Aditi Nagvanshi
"

Everyone of us has lost themselves somewhere in this fast forward life in order to find comfort, happiness and true love. Read this poem and share your thoughts with me.

"
A  NIGHT TO REMEMBER

While looking towards the coruscate night,

Amidst  the waves splashing haphazardly  by the sides,

The thoughts that conquers my mind,

I 'm writing my  restless heart out!
In search of love and affection that is pure,

We lost ourselves somewhere by  the core,

Searching blitheness and comfort for our soul,

We often end up entangled ourselves!
As we clung for the dear life,

It's never too late to realize,

So let's just halt for a trice,

And think about being gratified!

Now everything feels so pleasant,

Glimmer of hope has made a difference,

No more agitated thoughts and nights,

I'm feeling contented as the gloominess slides!!!

I like how you use the language. Feel of the ancient writers in the words. I liked the honest words and thoughts shared in the poem. I tell the kids. Slow and easy. Make the steps of love sweet and kind. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

Keep writing. You are talented and you are welcome.
True, all of it is within. What are optimism and pessimism, but states of mind?
You make an effort to use words that are not commonplace. That's a part of natural development of a writer.
I like this piece for the message it conveys. Good work.

I enjoyed the flow of your words here, though I was left puzzling about the nature of the gratification you had in mind... Some kinds of self-indulgences lead to saturated fullness; others bring release and satisfaction. Are we wring about the reality of experience or the reality of imagined experience?

Well, this well constructed piece certainly start me thinking on this rather cold April morning here in the UK. Thank you, my new friend.

Hey Agyani! First of all thankyou for your review and kind words about my work. I really appreciate it.
According to me "When we feel satisfied or contented with what we have rather than chasing the things that we don't, that feeling gives you true happiness and u start looking at life with different perspective. You are no longer the same person. And this changed way of looking at world gives you hope to live your rest of the life happily rather than yearning and crying over things that you can't fix."
Hope that I've conveyed my thoughts easily to you.

Hey Aditi
Interesting take about gratitude for what you have rather than yearning and struggling for what you don't. Just one question, though. What exactly is the glimmer of hope that you mentioned in the last para? As in, how do you think gratitude gives hope? I'd like to know your thoughts on this :)
