Credence

In the cradle of dawn the sky was painted red
In your gaze I saw how it bled
Angel kisses blew through the air
Whispering sweetness in your ear

Like watercolours carelessly spilled
Rosy tint fell on the world and it stilled
Your smile was sickly bend
As you said the sunrise was our end
