Silence

Silence

A Poem by Adriana
"

Swim through old wounds now forgotten

"
In the silence heard the violence
Saw my bruises soothing waters
Child screaming turns to laughter
Swim through old wounds now forgotten

This poem evokes some pain but also blends in a healing touch. The silence had carried noises of violence but it has quietened now . The journey was triumphant from suffering to solace. The past has no control of the present seems to be the point from "child screaming turns to laughter" It is a very nice write dear @Adriana. Wounds getting old is always a happy sign.

this poem really speaks to the inner strength we all possess and are able to access with enough effort. this work was hard to swallow, but it's undeniably true. scars do heal and we can come out of any situation stronger.
