STRANGER

STRANGER

A Poem by Daniel

I've been deceived and convinced, my heart thought,
Desperate and hungry to feel the outside world,
The Yawn for freedom, Echo in my ears,
I thought he was the one.

The warning coming twice as a spark like a Snapping thunder,
Right from my mother who already saw the very end.
All i saw was the man i loved.
A stranger i loved.

In the dark room alone with my heart panting faster than usual,
He gave me the assurance that all is well.
His sweet words were permissive and cunning,
Any woman would fall easily.

He promise never to hurt me or take advantage of me,
Confidently I sat at the brink of my own doom
A stranger, i fell in love with.

Sneaking out in the cold weather, running ahead of time.
it shouldn't have ended this way.

Now with an unborn child rolling round my Tommy,
Now I remember he was a complete stranger,
He raped me out of pretense,
He lure me out of love,
I Ignored the family i loved.

Alone and motionless in the dark room,
Helpless and intoxicated by his wine,
Bleeding my heart as he had his way,
Is this the punishment for my lust or love?

He was rapist,
My mother warned me,
He is a stranger,
But I never listened

He never existed again, the world crushed on me,
Remember he was the stranger i loved,
Beware he is a rapist,
A total stranger.
