Paradise Lost

Paradise Lost

A Poem by Adept
"

Another little short from years ago, I know what a name to pick for it to be shadowed by. Hope you enjoy this other sad lonely romantic poem from a younger me.

"

My poetic words come from the dark.
It's not my fault it has also consumed my heart.
Why is it that the world is trying to tear me apart.
As if its been against me from my very start.
The world to me is a dungeon from which I can't escape.
At lesat until I meet the most dreaded fate.
The sweet symphony of end into which all of us will seep.
Into the ground to retrieve our endless sleep.
To sleep to sleep with angels be.
To live again in a never ending dream.
Without a world so dark.
Without a broken heart.
A paradise a whole world apart.
All this I'd give for a girl who can heal my heart.

I'm not too good at being constructive, but I am certain that I liked this piece. Sad, it is, that when we are young (as I still am..) most of everyone- well, those who let themselves actually feel- feel as if there really is no hope.
