fallen solderA Poem by Kristen Van Campsad but unfortunitly an every day thing in the world we live inFallen Solder by Kristen Van Camp
my solder came home today along with all his brothers they all got off the plain today but not all of them together
some got off and kissed there wives others huged there mothers but mine came off in a shiny box no hugs for one another
the solders they all stud around soluting there fallen brother tears filling there eyes never once making fun of each other
a friend, a leader, a brother to them all giving his life so they could come home to there wives and there mothers a man that will be a hero in there eyes tell again they meet each other
my solder he came home today came home to stay forever.
