Poison

Poison

A Poem by Adela Muresan
"

About the gifts of love.

"

See me,

Lie to me

Pretend

Place the necklace of love onto my neck,

Enjoy your conquest

Let your demons out of their cage

Make the necklace turn into a serpent

Posses me

Use me

Kill me

Love me

Lose me

Taste my poison

Die inside

and hate me.

Very impressive on expressing on giving yourself up like that. Making me feel like I have nothing else left to lose and just go on to take that kind of risk anyway...

Anyway, I've enjoyed how you've created the stanzas like that, so simple, yet a bit too much. But, it's still all good there, so no worries...

Unfortunately, that sums up alot of relationships really well.
Really liked the format, and your sentiments were right on.

Wonderful job!
