Casualties of Credo

Casualties of Credo

A Poem by A. G. Camden

Deceive your god, announce killing season,
Gunpowder and shotguns sensing the thrill
Dare to forget and spare all the reason

Acknowledge your bullets, remain heathen;
Uncover all saints, once shown sinners they'll
Deceive their god, announce killing season.

Hesitant prayers without cohesion
Await for Judgement Day with poor goodwill,
Dare to forget and spare all the reason.

Press on the holes, they're a sign of lesion;
No cross to bare though such was not the deal,
Deceive your god. Announce killing season!

Although foretold, he's not chosen treason,
Instead has ignored the power to feel.
He dared to forget and spare all reason.

Written in stone beyond Heaven's region,
Unravelled life and lies whose voices will
Deceive your god (for it's killing season),
Dare to forget and spare me all reason.
