NUPTIAL WISHES

NUPTIAL WISHES

A Poem by David Adedokun
"

A short poem to wish my friends who are soon to wed a happy married life

"

NUPTIAL WISHES

Timely ripened to fall out

There's a large expanse to fan out

la-la-la..pluck the strings on the guitar

let cool sounds through my ears filter

Hallow the invite on every status

At a click, let every eyes see

Let the bridal shower

Make plain the field like a plougher

For the lucky guy- the sower

Let heavenly shower

Flourish the tender flowers

I pray thee Divine Maker

Let destiny stretch out roses on your path

Let fresh breeze model ripples on your sea

Let the golden sun brighten your days

Let twinkling stars sparkle your nights

Let love be felt even down to the kisses

Let your company be blessed with a beautiful flock

Let freshness be the nature of your stock
