Feminine HighA Poem by AddyAdeWe love shopping, don't we Ladies?:)
Just the thought would pull any woman out of the darkest mood
It'd pierce and shatter any kind of gloom A radiant smile would burst out and she'd giggle in pure delight An exciting and bubbly interest it'd ignite The 'mighty' sex exploit this weakness They use it to get out of countless offenses They flash their credit cards and waggle them like meat to a starving dog And like a magic trick, she can't remember what he did wrong She'd call up a friend and they'd invade the mall like soldiers on a mission With only one thing in mind;to indulge in an afternoon of pleasure In a wild, crazy desire the 'mighty' sex have failed to understand In vain, excessive spending most can't stand They glide through racks of clothes as serene as angels Trying on tons of clothes, picked it seems from a depthless well Swirling and twirling in front of the mirror as they admire Oohing and aahing at the exquisite bounties they've acquired Sated with pleasure their enthusiasm dim like rallentando They proudly brandish their exploits like commandos That heady feeling they get is something men can never comprehend no matter how they try It's a mystery suitably christened Feminine High © 2013 AddyAde |
