Is None Eternal?!

Beauteous rose! So elegant you appear,
Symbol of friendship and love you bear,
But with time...your beauty shall sear!

Supreme sun! Your fire blazes the sky,
Honor and glory you signify,
But at the end of the day...you shall die!

Silver moon! Your pearly light adorns the night,
Behold great beauty and grandeur you might,
But fade away you shall...within a fortnight!

Sturdy rock! With stupendous grit you stand,
And your might is not unknown to us,
But with nature's lashes...you too shall weather!

Things these are, of great strength and beauty,
Yet, they can't eternal be!
Ultimate truths, if these are not,
What then is the truth, which eludes me?

It is then in my ear, a voice whispers -

"What value hold, strength and beauty,
If they eternal be?
Eternity weakens the strength and uglifies beauty,
And I AM the truth, which you fail to see!"
